West Sussex Music

West Sussex Music is the lead organisation for the county’s music education hub, in 2021 they decided to begin to reshape the way they work. Hub Graphics helped West Sussex Music with this becoming a reality, through brand strategy, brand identity, website layout design and print collateral.

The brief was to convey the shared values of both the charity and the music education hub. The branding needed to represent both entities separately and together. The brand needed to clearly show the relation between the two spheres of West Sussex Music.

Strategy & Rebrand

The strategy consisted of bringing together key individuals that work for and work with West Sussex Music. Research was undertaken to understand what the perception is of West Sussex Music and how might this change and look in the future.

Together we went through 9 areas which consisted of Brand Core, Positioning and Personas. This information was brought together to form the completed strategy for the rebrand.

Print Collateral

Once the strategy was complete concepts for the new logo design were created. Brand assets were then completed that communicated the vision, mission and values of West Sussex Music and the Education Hub. These assets needed to appeal to their priority audiences.

Website Design

The brand elements, typography, colour palette and imagery where then brought together to form the new website design. The structure of the website was mainly kept the same however the Education Hub needed to be more clearly communicated.

Once the PSD designs were complete they were passed over to a developer to restructure the website which was built in WordPress.
