FAQ's
Who is Hub Graphics?
The work completed is by one man. Simon. I have been in design for nearly 20 years, and still love to see new and existing businesses look great in the marketplace. I may call on extra help should further website development be needed or more specific skills.
How long should a design take?
This depends on several factors. What design(s) you need for example? How many revisions are needed? If a website is required this can take significantly longer. As an example a single logo design can typically take 2 weeks.
Can I request as many design requirements as I need?
Yes of course, just list out all the requirements needed when completing the form. We can confirm the price on a call to start the design process.
What programs do you design in?
Primarily I use Adobe Creative Suite. When needed Microsoft software is also used.
What do you use to build websites?
Built in WordPress
Intiuitive themes (Divi or Elementor) that can be customised to suit your brands identity whilst having extensive functionaility options.
Bespoke website designs can be created from Adobe XD designs, I then work with a developer to create the designs in WordPress.
How do I create content for a new website?
You can be provided with a questionnaire which can tell us more information about your business. We advise to create copy yourself with some help via Ai. The theme(s) we use in wordpress has this built in for you to use. The content will be SEO optimised for specific keywords.
Images can also be sourced for you from specific stock image websites which is in line with your industry and brand identity.
You can of course provide your own copy and images.
What are maintenance costs once the website is built?
There are standard hosting costs billed once per year. As a minimum a monthly fee of £35 can be setup to do basic checks in regards to the theme and plugins that might be used. If further requirments are needed it will be charged at £60 per hour (As from Jan 2024).
Another option I provide is a tutorial to manage the website once built, this cost is accounted for within the quotation and charged per hour.
How much will my website cost?
For a standard 5 page brochure style website it would cost around £750. However there are lots of factors that need to be considered which include the amount of pages, functionality, revisions, ecommerce capability, layout designs, SEO and more. It is best to get in touch so I can get a full picture of your requirements and provide you with a quote for your website design.
